SCHOOL BOARD BYLAWS

Annual Organizational Meeting

The first regular monthly meeting in January shall be the annual organizational meeting of the School Board at which time the Superintendent or designee shall act as Chair pro tem for the sole purpose of electing a School Board Chair.

The first order of business shall be the election of the School Board Chair. The new Chair shall then assume office and preside over the remainder of the meeting. The second order of business shall be the election of the Vice Chair and third order of business will be the appointment of the Clerk of the School Board and a Deputy Clerk empowered to act in all matters in case of the absence or inability to act of the Clerk.

The School Board shall then proceed to the Agenda set for the meeting.
