The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) released Standard of Learning (SOL) pass rate data on Aug. 27. The overall SOL pass rates for Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) exceeded the state pass rates in all subject areas.

Payment to the Estate of Deceased Employees: Earned/Accrued Leave
The School Board shall pay to the estate of a deceased employee the full hourly equivalent, at per diem, of all earned and accrued sick, annual, and/or personal reasons leave. All front-loaded leave will be evaluated and pro-rated based on length of employment.
