The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) released Standard of Learning (SOL) pass rate data on Aug. 27. The overall SOL pass rates for Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) exceeded the state pass rates in all subject areas.

Sick Leave Bank
The School Board authorizes the establishment of a sick leave bank for eligible employees.
The School Board reserves the right to abolish the sick leave bank at any time it considers it inappropriate. The School Board does not assume responsibility for claims by any employee against the sick leave bank from its inception or at any time in the future.
The Superintendent or designee shall promulgate regulations for the operation of the sick leave bank.
